Kanye West and Amber Rose got formally fresh and hit the Metropolitan Opera’s 125th Anniversary Gala at The Metropolitan Opera House, Lincoln Center on Sunday, March 15th in New York City. I like the shawl lapel on Ye's tuxedo jacket.

You don't see too many cats wearing shawl collars nowadays. They would rather wear the peak lapel, which I think is pedantic. The shawl collar is a classic.
Yup. It's definitely coming back though. Not many people know about it. I saw a few in the spring '09 collections. Ralph Lauren Rugby has a shawl collar on a cardigan that's really fresh. The peak and notch lapels are still cool just as long as they're not too wide. A thin peak lapel can be really dope if it's done right.
